	The good emerging: I see more awareness in some people. I see more people seeking a different way of life, not just looking for more and more things to make them happy. Report 2017: We stood at a Body and Brain yoga center. There was seven of us and we combined some self-care activities with standing. Everyone was happy about coming and felt very positive about the experience. I hope to repeat this next year with the yoga members , their family and friends, and the general public.

	The good emerging: People coming together in bipartisan groups to advocate for our environment, our water, our children and our democracy. Clergy working together in ecumenical service and prayer. Women supporting each other in circles and gatherings. Report 2017: We stood at the Gazebo in Berkeley Springs State Park. We read why we are standing and held silence for 5 minutes. We were a small yet mighty group.

	Where standing: My family will be together at my children's home. The good emerging: Love, deep caring, and happiness. Report 2017: I stood in Livingston NJ. Several of my family members stood with me at our Mothers Day celebration. I read the declaration to them before I stood. The next thing I knew, everyone in the room got up, too. I was so happy that they joined the Standing Women!

	The good emerging: It is indeed a challenging time - I often wonder what difference I can make. So I've committed to doing what I can - I send an email, make a call, support friends, ... I do what is within reach - I CAN do that. ANd I believe that somehow adds to the ripple of change. Report 2017: I stood in my front yard - under my old stately pecan tree. I stood alone physically, but had other friends standing simultaneously in their respective sites. It was comforting and empowering as I stood thinking of everyone holding space for a healthy future.

	The good emerging: Believing in reconciliation is greater now than many years before, more powerful than the opposite. Our Pastor might or might not be a pacifist, but he is strongly reconciling and despite new reports of violent and wild opposites, there is more reporting on reconciliation. Climate change may force us to further the violence to the earth. More and more dangerous use of depleted uranium in military use is heating the atmosphere and farther up. We are going the way of all flesh if we do not stop playing Cat and Mouse games. Fear and Paranoia is like playing with fire. My turning point toward reconciliation came when I was out of the military and going to college. Churches were doctrinally farther and farther apart and they of all people need to stop feeding the fears. God bless all who seek peaceful and harmonious relations. May my children and grandchildren and great granchildren live in a reconiliation with each other and all whom they have come to earth to serve the vision of reconciliation. 	Where standing: TORONTO - Canada Again this year I invite you to be with me on SUNDAY MAY 14th, we will be standing in the little park on the North side of Heath Street West, located right next to the exit from the St. Clair Avenue WEST subway (take the Heath Street EXIT) and you are right there. This is a very easy location to come to directly on the Spadina line. The part has recently been renovated and is lovely. I invite participants to come a little earlier. Since we only stand for about 5 minutes from 1pm (on Mother's day) Last year we stood with people who had come from far away as well as local "Torontonians ". There was a wonderful feeling of "ONEness & Unity" for OUR children - ALL the children of the planet. This year I hope my grandchildren will join me again,as they have done in the past. 	The good emerging: The joy and vitality of the next generation that will be taking the leadership for peace, love, unity and the saving of our Planet. Report 2017: We stood on the Saturday before Mother's Day from 1 PM to 2 PM in the midst of a Tulip Festival and then leafleted in support and protection of the world's children for about half an hour afterwards. It was cool and raining but that didn't dampen our spirits or the spirits of the families there to see the beauty that Mother Earth shares with us in the form of flowers. 	The good emerging: I believe that the hearts of people are changing and although there is much interior work to be done, we are "over the hill" and moving toward love and unity. Report 2017: We stood at Kraft Azalea Garden in Winter Park, FL. I made a Standing Women sign, so that people could find each other in the park. As 1:00 approached, I read the Standing Women Proclamation. At 1:00 I rang my Tibetan Singing Bowl to signal the start of our meditation. I rang it again at the end of the 5 minutes meditation. There were 2 women and 3 men who stood with me in this beautiful wooded park on the edge of a lake. Everyone reported a deep meditative experience where they were deeply connected to the earth, the children of the world, each other and all that is. It was the first experience that most of them had had of Standing Women. It was a beautiful way to Celebrate Mother's Day.

	The good emerging: The good is how in community a lot of us are determined to make a difference. We all heard Trump's campaign promises of making America great again. Somebody mentioned recently: maybe so, but not the way he had in mind. What will be great about our future is how those of us who are compassionate are drawing together. Report 2017: It was a beautiful late spring day. We were at Tranquilbuzz Coffeehouse where a musician going by the name Hounddog played. Shortly before one o'clock I read the declaration to an audience of maybe 30 of us and then asked Hounddog to play something "sweet" and then at 1 o'clock we would all stand up together. Hounddog played "Let It Be," and the feeling of all of us standing up and remaining standing--and with all of you around the world, no less--was very tender and moving. Thank you!

	The good emerging: The good arising is in the heartfelt appreciation of my daughter in law for my presence wisdom joy and skills sharing with them for one month on north Vancouver Island; the good arising is the challenge that my sons poppas negative seeds are receiving by women coming together for mutual valuing and listing of hours of devotion unpaid! the good arising is the profound appreciation by another brand new poppa of one month who lost his momma when he was 9yrs old and so so so celebrated this Gma sharing three days in their cabin with cats and forests as witnesses. AND that we are in agreements; that parents need trainings; and that couples need to share the paths to intimacy and appreciation pre conception during pregnancy and post partum! today I shared this toddler baby love with a childless sistar and the political conversations transmuted into; each one was once an infant with a momma and poppa; then we share sacred space with a momma whose son suiceded last December with some deep tears and such honesty of pain; then I received a note of appreciation from a momma whose son left the form last November; and many messages with hearts and deep appreciation for all mommas grandmothers! thank you for all that goodness that is arising! Report 2017: Autumn ROse, and one month old Teahvaya and I stood along the river banks for what felt like lifetimes. It was cool slightly rainy and yet there was this sense of hundreds of thousands of women standing sitting walking together releasing wounds and entering one woman way! 	The good emerging: There is always 'good' in my life. My children take great care of me, and in their words..."like you cared for us." At the moment, watching CNN television, and America destroying itself from within...I am not sure if any of us will celebrate next Easter or Passover. On the other hand, I have bouquets of flowers for Mother's Day and three children who are grandparents themselves, who work hard, care for their kids, are active in their communities as volunteers and help when needed. I am indeed, blessed. I wish that for everyone. Report 2017: I arrived home from church about 12:45...my apartment looks out on a beautiful big tree, just coming into leaf. I stood on the balcony, thanking God for the wonderful grandchildren in my family, and their six {6} small children, who have all the basic needs and more. They also have parents who work hard and care for them. I wish all children in the world, the gift of education, loving parents who will keep them safe, and clean and fed in a world without fear.
