Our Collaborative Group Intention Monthly Theme For December is:

In God I Trust

Introduction

Our last month's theme was the "Divine Presence and Me. This simply means seeing, understanding and feeling the presence of the Supreme Universal Power that underlies all. Now is the time to trust this power and put into practice the real meaning of "In God I Trust. This simply means trusting the Universal Divine Orchestration and living life as it presents itself in the moment. Life is eternal. But the expressions of life are temporary. However we can make this life a worthwhile experience by experiencing the divine presence and expressing it in all our doings. Experiencing the magic of unbounded/unconditional love. Knowing the true meaning of success and fulfillment by connecting with all that is through the divine thread (of spirit) and trusting its expressions that we see in our day-to-day living of our lives.

As such, we must understand and feel that the Source of all creation is divinity (or the spirit or the consciousness). What we see as creations with different names/forms/ shapes/labels, they simply represent the divinity in motion. We are all spiritual beings; whether we remember it or not. This field of pure potentiality in which all manifestations take place, is divinely unmanifest. However, it can be experienced directly as we are picking up many human experiences during this cosmic journey.

Experiencing and Trusting the Divinity

The following sequence of working with the whole (being a part of the whole) is useful in experiencing and trusting the divinity uniquely in an ongoing basis:

With regular morning Silent Meditation/Prayers we experience the presence of the divine energy within us and beyond. As all is One, and I am one with all that is. Realizing through experiential awareness that there is the all-prevalent and all-powerful Universal cosmic energy that orchestrates the dance of the whole universe in the infinite pure field of potentiality. I am a part of this dance, and so is everyone and everything else connected with this dance. The dancer, the process of dancing and the dance is One. They are not separate from each other.

By so doing I am lovingly getting in touch with the divine power that lies deep within my soul. In this mode, I am paying full attention to the spirit within me that sustains me, observes me (and the universe), directs me and keeps me connected with all the joys of living this life. I awaken myself to this reality in the inner stillness within my heart.

Now in entering the active worldly arena, I am carrying, in a mode of awareness, this conscious energy of the timeless, eternal Being in the midst of time-bound experiences of day-to-day living of our lives.

Acceptance and thankfulness of the day with all it brings with it. Accepting the moment as it is, and manifesting the future through one's deepest, most cherished intentions and desires. Continually seeing the purity of purpose along the journey.

Conscious focus on the things one wants to do during the day. Soaking them into pure energy to transform them into the purity of purpose of the day.

Doing all things planned/foreseen and new things that the day may present during its course of time.

Having done the best in a mode of Self-connection let it go. Let the Universal Cosmic Energy that pervades in all, and at all times, orchestrate it. Remain afloat and absolutely open to all points of view and not be rigidly attached to any one of them. By so doing, we put the Infinite organizing power to work for us.

Trusting God (i.e. the Universal Orchestration) is the willingness to actively wait for clarity and further line of action or inaction as it may be prompted. Being alert to opportunities as such is to allow one to take the moment and transform it into a greater benefit for all connected within the situation. Knowing that such an unwavering faith holds the time of not knowing/uncertainty in "witnessing patiently'" as a fisherman holds his line.

In my willingness (from innate awareness) to accept uncertainty and remain open, solutions will smoothly emerge out of the problem howsoever desperate or confusing it may be. Realizing that openness and uncertainty is my path to freedom. By so doing I find my security in the divinity of the Infinite organizing power of Nature. Freeing myself from any mental attachments to any fixed notions/results in some set time frames, etc.

Trusting in awareness that when things don't seem to go my mental way of thinking, there is a divine reason. The cosmic plan has design for me much grander than even those I have mentally conceived. Such new opportunities will be presented during the course of time as and when Nature deems it appropriate in its overall orchestration. Just be alert to such opportunities.

In desperate situations where one feels helplessness even after resorting to all worldly means, calling out intensely from within the soul for Divine help. Making sure such calls are for the overall benefit of all connected within the situation.

By incorporating all the above aspects in an ongoing basis will help us to develop an integral attitude of Oneness with all that is. It then becomes possible to restore the lost freedom, awareness and joyfulness.

In God I Trust Meditation (By Rita Khanna)

1. Sit comfortably with your back straight and relaxed. Bring your attention towards the back of your nostrils and observe your own flow of natural breath in and out. Be present there for a few minutes.

2. Let your breath go deeper towards your navel and observe your breath from nostrils to navel and naval back to nostrils. Feel your abdomen rising and falling. Be there for a few minutes.

3. Breathe into your toes and observe the flow of energy by taking your attention upwards towards the base of your spine. Be fully present there. Feel the presence of the divine energy. Feel this energy rising upwards all the way into the middle of your eyebrows. Be present there for another few minutes.

4. Repeat seven times OM's vibrations. Feel the presence of the divine energy within and around. Feel one with yourself and One with all that is, the cosmic universal energy that orchestrates the dance of the whole universe. Affirm I am part of this dance, everyone and everything is connected with this dance.

5. In this deep connection, affirm, I fully trust in God. Everything is coming from Him. Bring a situation where you need more clarity and understanding. Observe and experience having full trust in God within and listen to the inner guidance in silence. Stay there for a few minutes.

6. When you are ready to come out of the meditation, bring your attention towards your breath and slowly open your eyes.

After doing your level best in what you are shown in your silence, let go into the hands of the universal energy to look after the details by having full trust in the divine. Stay open and alert for new possibilities to emerge.
