We are envisioning and proposing a new kind of politics. It may be quite true that any transition to a more idealistic or equitable form of self-governance in this world presents huge challenges, but it seems reasonable to propose and review idealistic possibilities that might be based on collective wisdom.

The reformation and empowerment of enlightened democracy

Some principles

• All issues to be considered in a holistic and integral context, such that all relevant factors and all affected stakeholders in any issue can be brought to the table in an enlightened and fully informed way.
• Every point of view should be represented within the decision process.
• We should study various forms of democracy, and look for a balance between the purely "bottom-up" approach, entirely directed by "the people", and a more top-down approach, that introduces expertise and skill and experience.
