Ponderings

*

"The indwelling spirit in this body is the witness, the director, the sustainer and the enjoyer, the great Lord and the Supreme-self." Gita 13.22

*

"God resides in our hearts. If we could learn to gently remove within us the common understanding that we are just a body, we would see God face to face." M.K. Gandhi

*

"There is one absolute, transcendent TRUTH which is manifested differently in the different forms of religion. This 'transcendent unity' of religion has been compared to a white light, which is broken up into different and apparently contrasting colors, but which remains identical under all its forms. Or it can be said that all religions are different paths to the same goal; they all converge on the infinite, transcendent mystery (absolute Nature) in which their true meaning is to be found." C.G. Jung

*

In seeing through the eyes of Source, accepting everything as an extension of Consciousness and what is - as is, judgments, comparisons, and opinions are no longer relevant. And you feel as though an enormous weight has been lifted off of your head and soul. This is what I call my original innocence regained, and it is an integral part of the rapture. This is what I define as freedom." Satyam Nadeen -- From Onions to Pearls

Love Radiance Intention Experience

Dear Love Radiance Intention Member,

Our Collaborative Group Intention Monthly Theme for January is:

Experiencing our Essential Nature

Introduction

In the beginning, there was nothing whatsoever other than the Absolute Supreme Being. God is the origin of everything, but God has no origin. Hence God is inside as well as outside all beings, animate and inanimate. And because of God's omnipresence, God is very near residing in our inner psyche as well as far away in the Supreme Abode.

So our intrinsic nature has to be Godly in nature which almost all the scriptures call it Truth-Awareness-Bliss. To live from this intrinsic nature we have to be in alignment with its essential essence.

Essential Godly Nature

With the understanding as above, we can live our essential nature in three ways as follows:

(i) Truthfulness: To know the reality or the truth at all times with whatever we are dealing. To know the truth, we need to observe in an unbiased manner and note the facts as they are (not as they should be). Once we know the truth as truth, our inner power of the Self (i.e. God within) is spontaneously activated to guide us in our inner silence. It is only a matter of doing as directed and letting go. By so doing we are living with Truth. That simply means we are living with God, as "Truth is God." Gandhi realized this and lived by it.

(ii) Awareness: This is simply knowing consistently our current state and checking it against our Higher Spiritual/Godly nature. Are we operating from the free powerful zone in us, which is completely free from toxins such as fear, anger, false pride, greed, and over-indulgence in worldly pleasures and division/separateness (from God)? These toxins are commonly known for holding a person from moving ahead in life. Are we using our Inner Godly Power to manifest what we are aspiring? Are we using it to all the situations that are presented to us? An affirmative answer (yes) means awareness. Negative answer (no) simply means ignorance, not being real with what we intrinsically are. An aware person turns negativity around to positivism without any delay.

(iii) Blissfulness: To know our heart-felt aspirations, to manifest them and to respond to various situations at all times, we must cultivate calmness or quietness in us. It is only in this peaceful state that we really know what our aspirations are and how we can realize them. If we are not calm and quiet, we shall be relating, and the results will not be totally satisfying. As this inherent peace is being realized and utilized in all we do, the other aspects of 'blissfulness' such as freedom, love and joy, automatically join in the total picture. In this process, the revitalizing energy starts to spread in the whole body (toes to top) taking us further to connect with the universal energy, and with the Source/God in all of us.

10.Constantly contemplating and seeking the Infinite. And rejecting what is finite and limited.

11.Frequent reminders to my vow of maintaining non-violence/peace in my thoughts, my feelings, my words and my actions.

12.Being aware of the points of views of others. Acknowledging and respecting their freedom.

13.Remembering my "Purpose of Life" understanding, practicing and sharing the Truth-Awareness- Blissfulness that we all are within our intrinsic nature.

Unity Meditation (By Rita Khanna)

1. Find a quiet place; sit comfortably with your straight back and eyes closed.

2. Draw your attention within your breath, at the back of your nostrils where the breath is entering and exiting. Be there for few minutes until you start to feel calm and peaceful.

3. Let your breath move freely from nostrils to navel and navel back to nostrils. Be there for another few minutes.

4. Breathe into the base of your spine. Stay there for few seconds. On exhalation, visualize your divine energy rising above towards the center of your eyebrows. Do this for few more minutes.

5. Be at the center of your eyebrows. Simply be and observe your inner peace and connection with the Self. Inhale and on exhalation, say seven times, Om.

6. Affirm, I am Sat-Chit-Anand. My intrinsic nature is Truthful, Awareness and Blissful. Feel and know the true essence of these affirmations that I am part and parcel of God and He resides in me. Feel the freedom from fear, anger, attachments, etc. Feel One with the Self, Universe and the Source. In silence experience this communion. Listen to the voice, which guides and directs in this silence. Stay there for few minutes.

7. After connecting with the Real-Self, go beyond to connect with the Omni-present Universal Consciousness. And thereafter with the Source from where infinite sustaining Light is radiating in all the three worlds: earth, below the earth and above the earth.

8. When you are ready to come out of the meditation, bring your attention towards your breath into the nostrils and observe. Gently open your eyes. Feeling that in my day-to-day life and interactions, I am a spiritual being and God's energy is flowing through me.

Self-Observation

In your own silence, see how you are doing in the above-mentioned theme and or similar aspects of living your lives. And if you feel like sharing with us your experiences at Lightpages, we simply welcome and look forward to it.

With lots of love and Best Wishes & Ram
