Yes, what we do here is, in a wider sense, collaborative tagging and this is a very good and important thing, brought to us by the WWW.

Taking nothing away from all the positives in this "Collaborative Tagging" string you have so generously created, the last couple of days I have been thinking a great deal that what we most strategically need to incarnate this Deep Ecology Nature-Spirit Mythos and Logos, so important and right-on-time-and-target for this Great Transition, is to design a cooperative economic network that reflects more permeable mutually-confluent immunity systems to create richer, deeper, more densely and inclusively polycultured outcomes; and minimize long-term economic and ecological risks to Earth and all Her species.

We still have a competition-based philanthropic sector. The on-line social investment structures are trending toward more cooperative proposals. A couple of weeks ago a group of information process designers in Oregon introduced impactflow to revolutionize philanthropy by helping non-profits design cooperative projects, submit these umbrella local/regional projects to their site, and have this proposal go out immediately to all requisite potential funders throughout Earth. Does it work? I don't know.

But, my point is that we have things like LETS springing up around the planet, we have a couple of international models of cooperative corporations, why not think of the World Wide Web as also being our Wealth Without Walls network, design a grant subsidized global cooperative economic network that allows us to not only build cooperative resource and exchange projects, cooperative on-line educational and training projects that mutually resource each other, and are accessible to those who most need them, but also cooperative (0) interest loan capacity for those value transactions that require a currency exchange due to the inefficiencies of the cooperative economic network.

Regardless of the design details, the principle is that we increase the evolution of deep ecological culture by designing a cooperative economic and information exchange economy that reflects our (0)-sum thermodynamic normative balanced assumption that we each individually, and as Earth's Tribe collectively, will have enough, and live in equitable peace if the assets we add to our shared ecology balance the liabilities we withdraw for personal use, to recycle and repurpose as possible.

Buckminister Fuller said both that the best way to optimize abundance is to minimize loss; and that the most abundant way to minimize a system that no longer operatives efficiently and effectively and inclusively, is to go out and create an alternative system. So, our best opportunity to achieve the ecological balance we long for is to belong to, invest in, immerse our cooperative mindfulness in gratitude and compassion for each other's personal and vocational resources and liabilities today. Or so it would seem.
