Yes, yes, yes! I think the Focal Point may be, in optic language, what in Group Theory is known as the Lie Group. Grigori Perelman did a lot of work on this in mathematics, including his proof of the "soul conjecture." Which, I think is analogically equivalent to what Buckminster Fuller refers to as (0) Core Vector. There are lots of people working on the Zero based Systems stuff. But, this optical angle is a little different than anything I have looked at before. I think there may well be something of great value here for NCDD, and for any regenerative dialogue about values and power, consensus and inclusiveness.

But just for one more trick -- this thing about "marketplace" -- this might be a big angle for the realists among us. I did built a fancy system for this possibility about 18 months ago -- called "Focalpoint"

It's a system where "anybody can build a web site" -- kind of like the blog system here on the Alliance -- but then you can add a list of products -- and "build a store". It does work pretty well -- it's not quite finished -- but if you feel like clicking around on something -- it's here:

Take a look at the theory of optics down at the bottom of that page ("what is a focal point?"). Maybe that's the key to focal point of a circle.

That system is not yet fully integrated into this framework -- I'd have to do some programming, and the connection to Paypal needs to get tightened up -- but it's kinda neat, and designed for the Evolutionary Community...

I met Jalaja at a conference here in Santa Barbara something like 8 years ago, and I think I still have the DVD, if I can find it. I'm going to post this, then go look in my storage for that DVD. Then, if it feels right -- I am going to write to her and see if she wants to be a partner in this "alliance". This would be a powerful intriguing angle if it has life. NCDD, CircleWork, Israel/Palestine, Interspirit Alliance. That could be very alive indeed if the pieces come together.
