Greetings Lovely Rhonnaleigh Ronnali: Taking wholeness seriously shows best when we use inclusive terms for a class of beings or things having membership in it.

Starr*: I couldn't agree more with that aim (and we have been on a learning curve for that for several decades now); yet we must continue to develop past the terminology that has stifled the progress of Humanity's Wholeness.

English has been much more of an offender than you realize because it has propagated the male pronoun to include males and females; yet women could easily feel left out, and have, because they are not recognized in the terms - only implied. Women are present by omission. Unfortunately it has even crept into thoughts re 'Divine Authority'.

I know of a whole Revelation that was written in inclusive language, but when translated to English neutral terms which applied to men and women alike became 'He', including the 'GodHead'. The English was then taken as the model and was translated into many other languages, thereby taking what were in the original inclusive terms, they were made to apply to men through the use of the male pronoun.

All University studies show that language shapes the way we think about ourselves and our culture; therefore the Universities I attended no longer accept papers that don't use inclusive terms and language, accept of course, where one is talking about a particular gender etc.

I want to talk about a term that was understood in separation; but in today's life, and into the future, the term needs to be resacralized to be understood in its original Wholeness. I will put it in a separate post so as not to tire others out too much.

With Living Laughing Love - Starr*
