Yesterday, as I was browsing through Facebook, I happened to see a current message from Coffee Party founder Annabel Park, where she commented

"I'm going to say it again. 2014 is going to be the year of the transition to the Age of Compassion and Love of Community. It must."

So, I immediately posted a reply, and in about 15 seconds, my comment had a "like" from Annabel, then somebody else commented and I answered, and Annabel liked that too.

Annabel is a Korean/American documentary film producer now developing something she calls "Story of America", as she travels around and documents stories of people who are suffering because of current political policies in the USA -- particularly, she feels, as driven by Republicans -- or by "Big Money".

Starting in 2010, I worked with Annabel for a couple of years, on our "Shared Purpose" system, where we built a ton of political organizing tools.

Annabel had a magic touch with mass market social media. She had 500,000 "likes" on her Facebook page and could post something on Facebook, and for the next twenty-four hours we'd get a new member on Shared Purpose every minute responding to her request.
