"Let a man once begin to think about the mystery of his life and the links which connect him with the life that fills the world, and he cannot but bring to bear upon his own life and all other life that comes within his reach the principle of Reverence for Life, and manifest this principle by ethical world-and life-affirmation expressed in action." CHRISTIAN MEDITATION: EXPERIENCING THE PRESENCE OF GOD
James Finley

"Every time you compassionately engage with another person, your reason for being on this world in honored and expressed."

"Prayer embodies the emotional energy that carries the journey forward."

"Each breath is carrying us all the way home into God, from whom each breath comes."

"Whatever the specifics of your life might be, the truth is that God, who is love, is within you and all about you, loving you into the present moment."

"If we could only see ALL that this moment really is, we would see God loving us into being."

"Our very being and the very being of everyone and everything around us IS the generosity of God. For God is creating us in the present moment, loving us into being, such that our very presence in the present moment is the manifested presence of God."

"God is always uniting us to himself in our ordinary experience of our ordinary day-by-day lives."

"God eternally dwells in the uncreated mystery of the very silence that underlies and pervades our lives."

"God is giving herself, wholly and completely, in and as the incomprehensible stature of a single breath."

"We come to realize there is no real way to live other than in a willingness to love and be loved by a love that breaks our heart open ten thousand times a minute. Breaking our heart open, this love makes our heart whole in awakening us to the mysterious ways in which it invincibly and eternally unites us to itself in every detail of our day-by-day lives."

"It's One! The ground I was standing on, the leaf I was touching, the cloud in the sky, God that I was breathing, my own very self – were utterly, completely, ungraspably one!"

"We are one with that homeless person we saw going through the trash receptacle. The woman at the local market, the man who comes to check our gas meter, and all who have hurt us, abandoned us, and have otherwise wronged us, along with all the women and men we have never met – we are to realize that we are equally, fully one with every blessed one of them."

"We can learn to live our ordinary life knowing and trusting that in the midst of it all God ceaselessly joins us to herself."

"This is what Christ came to reveal: that nothing is missing anywhere. Our very life is itself the manifestation of the union with God we seek."

"Grounded in self-knowledge, I am grounded in awareness of oneness with you at a level that precedes and transcends the differences between us. I know you with an empathic, heartfelt knowledge of what it means to be a human being."

"As we search for God in the writings of the mystics, we can experience in their words something of the experience of God the mystics are writing about."

"It is the love revealed to us in Christ that breaks our heart open and teaches us to listen. Our learning to love as Christ has loved us breaks down the barriers that close us off from ourselves, God, and others."

"Jesus taught that we are completely drenched through and through with God's love. In the parable of the prodigal son, in his miracles of healing, in his love for everyone he encountered, his message rang out to one and all: you are drenched through and through with a divine benevolence that gives itself to you whole and complete in and as your very life."

"God is one with all the trees and flowers and weeds that grow along the roadside. God is one with the great mountains of the world and with each tiny grain of sand….God is one with the world and with each thing and person in it."

"There is, in fact, a deep-seated need for us as human beings to get our bearings in our own life, to grow in authentic self-knowledge, so that we can live our lives in a mindful and effective manner."

"At any given moment you can choose to grow where you are planted. You can yield to the subtle inclination that tugs at your heart to open yourself to the presence of God that is always there."

"We simply never know just how far a single act of loving consideration will travel, or the ripple effects it might have on those we have never met."

"I hear the words read: 'Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.'….I shall return to my heart and try to understand and find this purity, for this is indeed a precious and desirable thing….It has for its reward the vision of God, which is eternal life." Guigo, 12th century Carthusian monk, 'Ladder of Monks'

"Each of us is living out of our own unique edition of the one universal story of how we, as human beings, discover and respond to the divine origin and fulfillment of our lives."

"Eternal oneness with God IS the very reality of ourselves and of everyone and everything around us."

Dear Bruce: What a remarkable synchronicity it is, to open up this page, and find several amazing quotes from the much-beloved ecospiritual community of Findhorn! This is just another "coincidence" for me, as part of a seemingly-ongoing set of experiences regarding Findhorn and the Nature Spirits. Thank you for including the Spirit of Findhorn on your website! ... By the way, I have been trying to log-in to my page, so that I may update my email address, but am at the moment unable to do so; as of last week, I haven't been able to access my Gmail account, and have set up a new Gmail address: roslynrus33@gmail.com . I shall send you an email directly regarding this. Many blessings, Roslyn.

IlluminatingSpirit - Samantha Spiritual Gathering Westhampton, NY

At Samantha's Spiritual Gathering the mission and purpose is to empty the chalice/temple (self) of all things co-mingled on the Earth plane with earthly people and to Allow the self/being on all levels, to fill up with the Spirit of the Divine Creator... that Spirit which is enmeshed, saturated, and intertwined with your Spirit. Bringing that Spirit down into the Chalice of your beingness...your physical body as well, helps everyone to be empowered through their own Spirit guided by the Divine Creator of many names. The Global Network is a Gathering, sharing Spirit to Spirit and I am humbly grateful to partake in sharing from my space of Spirit. Thank You, Samantha Paitakis

A group of us spiritual seekers have found a simple, lighthearted but powerful way to build resonance by " a game" for creation of heaven on earth. Here it is: The Looking For Light Game We keep our minds searching only for light, for good, for God in every situation and circumstance. What will happen very quickly is quite amazing. We begin to “see” God everywhere—in a beautiful sunset, sunlight on water, a child’s laughter, a mother’s loving gaze, a grandfather’s helping hands. Science has proven that our subconscious picks up 40 million bits of data per second. So once we desire to see only good, our subconscious begins scouting everywhere for proof and whatever we are looking for, we will find. Playing the game quickly brings us into a state of joyful expectation. It brings us to a higher vantage point in which to “see” things. It raises our consciousness. The joy we feel radiates through our whole being. Through the natural laws of resonance and entrainment, it affects the quantum field around us. Our elevated vibration attracts the very good we are seeking and creates more good. Can you imagine what our world would be like if everyone’s focus was held in joyful expectation for good to appear in every moment of every day? It would transform our world into one of peace and joy and love. All that needs to happen is for enough of us to play the game. Come join us. It will change our world forever. “To the illumined mind the whole world burns and sparkles with light.” ~Emerson If anyone would like to share their experiences while participating, we'd love to hear about it. Is there anyplace you can post this? Thank you Judith and Patricia
