“The mission of the Interfaith Initiative of Santa Barbara County is to welcome, stand with, and celebrate the major faith and spiritual traditions in our community, promoting understanding, respect, and cooperative activities while partnering with other organizations to realize our common values and goals.”
Participants at our events are diverse and represent a wide variety of faith traditions such as Bahá'í Faith, Buddhism, Catholicism - Roman and Anglican, Christian Science, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Protestant denominations, such as Baptist, Evangelical, Lutheran, Methodist, and Presbyterian, Sathya Sai Baba devotees, Quaker, Unitarian, Unity and Vedanta.
