Intro / Bio: | I am a seminary student heavily under the influence of process theology, seeing all things as being components of the great "I AM." I see all of the different spiritual paths, and I get excited and I want to be a part of them, but much as I'd like to, I cannot travel them all. So I need you - people of other spiritual traditions. I need you to linger a bit when our paths cross so that we can compare notes and swap stories.
It is my deepest belief that God wants us to live together in justice, righteousness and shalom, and to care for one another and to share what we have with those who are in need. Unfortunately, I reside in a culture that is evolving to a place where you don't have to do anything you don't want to, and life is all about making more money and getting your way. And the worst part is that most people believe that God is on our side in this. It is a sad commentary not only of my culture, but it is becoming the dominant narrative globally. Our only defense is to talk to each other, and listen to each other.
So that is my interest in interspirituality. |
