Good morning from Santa Barbara -- and as always, thank you.

I worked late last night to get a start on this new "outreach engine" -- and this morning, I am continuing to tune what we might be able to do together -- and how this could all be easier, more intuitive -- and faster/more effective.

GETTING TUNED...

For me -- and maybe for anybody else who really gets into this -- this is a big vision. There is a lot on the plate right now, a ton of stuff. It's going to take a little time to get all of this clarified, and to give people some sense of whether they really want to be here -- and if they do, how this place might substantially excite their energies or work....

Some of the points on why this little email engine might be interesting...

• It contains coded instant-login links that recognize the recipient. Maybe we should make those expire after one use, or after a certain period of time.

• There is a reply/comment link -- that goes straight to the current "edition" of this news piece -- and enables comment by anyone who receives it. You can add a comment, and edit that comment. Right now, the idea is -- one comment per person per news piece. But -- it would not be a big next step to enable "comments on comments" -- and I will probably do that this morning. This would give us a start on a dialogue between us.

• Do we want to "subscribe by email to the comments"? That might be a good idea -- such that every newsletter or similar message would have an individual "subscribe to comments" option.

Ok. Enough for the moment. I appreciate your presence here -- and your willingness (if any :)) to work through this core development with me.

This project can get hot -- and with passion and vision and interest and creativity -- it will.

So -- try the comment or respond button, see what happens. The point is -- we want to build something for activists -- for spirit-led social change visionaries and activists. Along the way -- "we'll figure out the truth about God" -- and what everybody since the beginning of time has thought about the subject...
