Our Collaborative Group Intention Monthly Theme for October is:

Change Now With That Is Changeless

Introduction

Its important to be in each moment as it arrives, responding to it with our best effort, and then leave it alone to enjoy it. This is proven key to living our lives in a more fulfilling way. Begin to consider the challenging moments in our lives as opportunities to grow, and change these into positive present moments through the unchanging eternal power of the Self and the Supreme Self. Let's just be with ourselves and with the Universal-self as it leads us in the ongoing cultivation of an unlimited attitude in our individual and worldwide perspectives. We then notice from our hands-on experience that we are walking right in the middle of Infinity with pure unlimited potential. In the process of this Self-expansion, its important to practice letting go of attachment to our past conditioning and to live in the present as it presents itself. The major emphasis is therefore changing currently with what the Ongoing Changeless Presents and flowing currently with the Ongoing Timeless Energy Flow of the Self.

Background

Throughout history we have heard our ancestors warn us to not live in the present but to be think about our future. Even in contemporary society our peers warn us of the same. Their warnings of being prepared for the future may often create a fear in us of not being prepared to meet this future, this unknown. Or perhaps the present moment is too difficult for us, so its not really where we wish to be currently residing. And the past of pleasant memories and experiences, or the hope of a wonderful future can be far more appealing to us than our present as it is.

Flowing currently or changing currently may conjure up different feelings about the concept of being present in the moment according to what is shown from within and from the Source. The most difficult thing for human beings is resistance. Resistance to whats being presented. The human mind can be a habitual judge of everything and of every situation, and inevitably tries to change these situations into something other than what is being presented thus causing inner disturbances and outer disturbances through ones whole environment and relationships. Once we taste the benefits of flowing with what is we will be motivated to do so all the time. Theres beauty in everything and the inner and outer natural flow is experienced when the changing now connects everything and everyone, and the changeless will become easier. With openness, awareness and persistent determination we can bring about all the positive changes and transformations we truly aspire for. Difficult perhaps, but absolutely possible! Let it happen to you!

The Eternal Divine Pointer

A person who becomes perfect in silent Oneness (The highest Yoga of the Self) finds the presentation of divine Flow and the change required in oneself from within himself/herself in the course of time." Gita 4.38

The Process

First we need to clearly define the various aspects that we want to maintain as they work for us. Similarly we want to define new areas and or aspects that we want to have in order to add further enhancement in our lives. In the process we must know the barriers that stand in the way of our well-being. Another feature that we would like to add to our portrait is to be alert to new opportunities as they present themselves. With this vigilance and alertness, we can continue to revisit our portrait from time to time and be on the top of what we truly are. Now naturally the next step is to manifest and create them, and thus enjoying the manifestation and creation of enriching our lives.

We need to understand and practice three major aspects of manifesting and then enjoy the process this primarily consists of:

i)The Manifestation Process: Having established our individual unique portraits (as explained above), we need to ensure that we accept the reality of the moment as it is presented by Nature, as well as by our own personal strengths and weaknesses. The most powerful part of acceptance is the acknowledgement of the presence of the inherent spiritual power that resides in us, guiding us, observing and being enthralled in the walk of our life. By consistently being in touch with this power in our inner silence we are guided on what to do. Then its just a matter of doing it.

ii)Detached Doing: Let go of attachment to past conditionings, as well as to the outcomes of our actions. It may appear as if were losing control over things, but in fact this is empowering our actions and giving freedom to others and to us. Do our level best and invite Nature to look after the rest.

iii)Being With It: In one's inner silence, a person realizes that its wiser to be a part of the universal energy naturally. The Universal Power is boundlessly higher than our individual energy. To lock into this energy a person must go beyond one's egoistic tendencies. That's why this reality is declared to go beyond intellectual understanding.

Meditation

1. Sit in a quiet place with your back straight and withdraw your attention from the outer world towards your inner world. Start to observe the flow of your incoming and outgoing breath for a few minutes. This will allow you to stay in the present moment.

2. Feel your own presence from toes to top and the rhythmic flow of your own breath moving freely in and out. Breathe into your toes and on exhalation experience the subtle energy flow from your toes to the top of your head. Repeat this for a few minutes.

3. Feel that the present moment is the only moment you have. Withdraw your attention from the past and the future with conscious effort and experience the reality of the present moment as it is. Feel in this moment everything is all right and experience the presence of life in the present moment.

4. Breathe into your toes and on exhalation say the sound divine vibrations of OM from your toes to the center of your eyebrows. Repeat this for a few minutes.

5. Stay in the middle of your eyebrows. Visualize: I am a peaceful being. I am a loving being. I am flowing with every situation without resistance. I am seeing things as Is. I am responding to situations from inner peace and love without any judgment and attachment to past and future. I feel inner joy and harmony, and I am motivated to move with life with non-judgment, non-resistance and no-attachment. Stay there for a few minutes.

6. When you are ready open your eyes and accept everything around you as Is, without changing it.

Self-Observation

When we decide with full awareness to get absorbed in our indwelling spirit as it is, we can achieve anything we aspire for. We can deal with anything we really want to deal with: fears, anxieties, relationships, challenges and other unpleasant situations with the absorption in the spirit. We are effortlessly absorbed in whatever we do and we will be doing things based on our detached observation and intuitive direction. With this effortless PMP (present moment presence) in whatever we do, we will enjoy our doing and become successful at it, as well as become peak performers. When we aim for PMP of the Self, all other PMPs of the world will automatically be absorbed in this as well. Consistent practice of PMP meditation should be the forerunner of all our efforts in this direction. Let's remember when we change individually the world changes with us, so in turn we support the power and benefit of change throughout the world.
