Dear Bruce
Much like you answered another blogpost that care for the individual got to be balabced with community need, even the striving for common ideals got to be balanced with the "requisite variety". The danger in innocent equality is that it might lead to the boredom of shear banality (motherhood and apple pie). Spirit hovers over distinctions. What is *needed is common language for conversation* (and even debate). Even the term "spirit" is not clear or agreed.
